How to register to order online?

Click on "create your account" icon, fill in all the fields and press submit. Once this step is completed, a confirmation email will be sent to you to complete your registration. You can then reconnect to your Merenda account by entering your email and password. Click on add a child and complete the registration using the drop-down menu and click on submit. Please take note, that you must indicate your child's group when completing the registration. A second confirmation email will be sent yo confirm your child's registration.

Do I have to order order every day?

No, there is no minimum of meals to order. You can even order only once in the month.

What are my payments options?

We use Global Payments for all our on-line transactions, all payments are done by credit card.

When should I place my order?

At the end of each month, an email will be sent to you automatically, informing you that the new menu for the following month is now available online. However, please note that you can order at anytime during the current month, but be aware, that we have a delay of two business days, so plan ahead of time if you want a meal on a particular day. Example: If you place your order on a Monday then the Tuesday and Wednesday are not available for you to order. Next available meal will be as of Thursday.

How to print my menu, after placing my order?

Once you completed your order, you must return to your Merenda account. Below your child's name, click on the month you want to print/view. Your selections will appear and a field on the right side of the screen gives you the option to print your menu.

Are the meals and menus approved by a nutritionist?

All our meals are approved by our nutritionist.  In addition, we adhere to the nutrional food policy issued by the Ministry of Education and that of the School Board.

What is included in a meal?

All meals contain the daily serving of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates.  The meal is served with an entree, dessert and beverage of your choice.

Can I cancel an order/meal?

Yes, for any cancellation, you must communicate directly with us, either by email at info@traiteurmerenda.com or by phone at 514-490-1235. 

A credit will be granted to your account which can be used for your next orders.

My child is sick, can I cancel my order?

Yes, for a same day cancellation due to an absence/illness you must absolutely contact us by phone at 514-490-1235 before 7:30 AM. It is important to leave your child's full name, the school and group in the voice message.
